“I PLAYED IT TILL MY FINGERS BLED!”....or till I got blood blisters on my guitar fingers.

Here’s a toast to all those sweating it out to CREATE something great in this world. Whether that be vibrant awesome kids for our future, canning pickled carrots for the winter, painting a badass canvas on a Sunday afternoon, combining melodies with your lyrical soul or woodchopping that 10,000 hours on your hockey skills.

It’s always better to be a CREATOR in this world than a consumer. Here is a toast to all you CREATORS out there walking the lonely walk! CREATE. SOMETHING.

One of my favourite quotes of Mr. Albert Einsteins is "strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value". To be of value in this world I feel you have to CREATE value for it. Make this world a better place than you found it and CREATORS do this with creativity. As Einstein implied success in this world is not measured by the dollar bills in your account or the square footage of your house - it's measured by the VALUE you CREATE, the impact we make and the people we touch.

Consumers on the other hand tend to rely mainly on extrinsic and outward things in this world to provide entertainment and stimulation. It's parasitic in nature and this is necessary consumption for the SURVIVAL of a consumer.

We all consume in our lives and a few examples would be food, entertainment or electricity. To balance that consumption we should all strive to CREATE and maybe a fair ratio of creation to consumption is 5 to 1.

Adding creativity to your life will put a 3rd dimension into your personality making you more interesting, inspirational and understanding.

CREATING is the fountain of youth and it will help keep you young for the rest of your life and who doesn't want that!

Stay in tune and stay in touch.

Kent
